CERT training educates individuals about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. This 24-hour course meets one night a week for 8 consecutive weeks and culminates with a final disaster drill on a weekend day.
Class meets on Monday evenings, cost is $35.00 and includes the full class series and final simulation. Class is limited to 25 participants, first come first served with a priority to those who live or work in Redmond or Fire District 34.
